Refurbish your Lamino – Sustainable and Convenient with Move by Bike
Swedese, in collaboration with Move by Bike in Stockholm, now offers a smooth and sustainable service to renovate your Lamino chair. You can easily have your chair picked up, professionally restored, and delivered back to your home — all while you relax in comfort. The service is available within the Stockholm inner city (tullarna).
Here’s how it works:
1. Register your interest on our website:
Fill in the contact form further down on this page. We’ll get back to you with an invitation to a digital inspection via video call, where we’ll go through your Lamino’s condition and needs together.
2. Quote and booking:
After the video call, you’ll receive a quote immediately. If you choose to proceed, payment is handled through our online shop.
3. Pick-up:
Move by Bike will collect your chair from your home. They’ll pack it carefully and transport it to us.
4. Renovation:
Your Lamino is restored by our skilled craftsmen in Vaggeryd. Only original parts are used to ensure your chair is returned to its original condition.
5. Return delivery:
When the renovation is complete, we’ll contact you and Move by Bike will deliver your chair back to your home. They’ll assemble it and take the packaging with them.

All prices include round-trip pick-up and delivery.
If there are any uncertainties about the renovation needs, we’ll contact you for confirmation before starting the work.
About the Inspection and Additional Costs:
During the digital inspection, only the cost for reupholstery of the chair and footstool is estimated.
If your chair or footstool turns out to need spare parts, the cost for those will be added.
Once we receive your furniture at the factory, a complete inspection is carried out and we will then provide you with a final quote.
Video Call Options:
The video inspections are carried out via FaceTime or Microsoft Teams, depending on your preference.
Delivery Time:
Renovation takes approximately 10–12 weeks from pick-up to delivery.
