The garden furniture Desirée is naturally made of material robust enough for outdoor use. But the furniture is so attractive you’ll want to use it indoors too!
The garden chair Desirée was designed by Yngve Ekström in 1954, at a time when architects wanted to obliterate the division between outside and inside. Large windows opened out houses onto the greenery, flooring from the terrace spread to the sitting room and the same kind of plants were used both in- and outdoors. Fresh air, new ideas. Later a table in three sizes was added to the chair Desirée. Together they were created of such a high standard that they can withstand an outdoor climate as well as being of such an exquisite design that they look good inside too. In a café or a lounge, or wherever you want to create a feeling that the air is clear and that summer lasts forever.
