Furniture of the year!

On the very eve before the opening of the Stockholm Furniture Fair, Swedese was awarded with the prestigious “ELLE Interior Design Prize,” for the sofa Continental, designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune.

On the very eve before the opening of the Stockholm Furniture Fair, Swedese was awarded with the prestigious "ELLE Interior Design Prize," for the sofa Continental, designed by Claesson Koivisto Rune. The motivation stated: "A modern and cool sofa which elegantly combines soft cushions with shiny steel tubing." ELLE Interior's design prize is awarded in 13 categories to the very best within Swedish design over the past year. The selection was made by ELLE Interior's editorial office and "the winners maintain the very highest level of design, both nationally and internationally."

And as if that was not enough: the prize is also ELLE Interior's nomination to the international ELLE Deco International Design Awards, which are awarded annually in April at the Milan Furniture Fair. The editorial offices of the 28 sister magazines in the ELLE Deco network vote for the world winners.

And sssh! The Continental sofa now has a baby sister, just in time for the fair, which is an easy chair with the same name. This too, is modern and cool!

Staffan Holm's innovative Spin opens up a conversation between contemporary design, production methods and the magic of the old masters. And puts a spin on life."
